On CNN they kept saying how former colleagues told Foley
to "cool it." And kept him as chair of the committee about abused children!

They are as bad as the church (and some schools) that just moved the offenders around.

And Hastert with his crocodile concerns about the "safety" of the pages. If they can prove that he knew about if for a long time, the Republicans, with whatever shred of decency that they still have, must demand his resignation.

Perhaps my R rep may be good for something to write to him.

And the hypocrites who went after Clinton for relations with an adult woman..

What was that saying about LA politics: "as long as you are not found with a dead woman or a live boy in you bed?"

3. I predict Foley will have a prime time teevee show on one of the cable
news outlets...like Scarborough. Isn't that the reward?

4. What did Scarborough do?
And, while I've never watched him, I would guess that he provides a counter balance to the great Olbermann

6. Wow! I've never heard about it
(my excuse - summer of 2001 we were in the middle of a major move)

Just shows, again, how the Republicans consider themselves above the law.

Correction, Washington politicians do. I still remember our own scandals before the 1994 reversal of power.

If we do take the House, I hope that the lessons of those days will not be forgotten.
