Here it is: HR 6198- Iran Sanctions & Regime Change Bill passed last nite

Otherwise known as, god forgive me--- "The Iran Freedom Support Act"

AN ACT

To hold the current regime in Iran accountable for its threatening behavior and to support a transition to democracy in Iran.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the `Iran Freedom Support Act'.

When no Dems, or certainly no progressive ones, were around to object? :shrug:

Coz you see all the time, they do a voice vote initially, then someone asks for a recorded vote.

This is pure madness..What if * really pulls this crap and another country(major power) should come to the aid of Iran,its over

9/28/2006 Passed/agreed to in House: On motion to suspend the rules and pass the bill, as amended Agreed to by voice vote.
9/28/2006 Received in the Senate.
