for a little R&R? Just grab a bottle of blues and another bottle of blues and unwind. Drug addict and a republican congressman who has done god knows what with god knows who. Surely the christeeans are praying for the republican congressman as I hunt and peck. Praise Jesus. If it weren't for that nasty constitution this nasty resignation business would not be necessary.

2. This is looking more and more like ancient Rome...
under the reign of Caligula isn't it? Anything goes, as long as you've got the money and political clout to go with it. Everybody else lives in oppression and slavery.

5. Although, to Foley's credit
As opposed to some other folks we could name (DeLay, Cunningham, Ney), he got the hell out as soon as the story broke instead of the usual GOP routine of weeks or months spent denying the charges and defaming the witnesses. This went from "did you hear about Foley" to "Foley resigned" in just a few days.

Glad to see him go. Gladder still a bunch of 16-year-olds didn't have to put up with the likes of Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh using their national platforms to vilify them.

6. I think Ru$h is too old and too fat for Mr. Foley's discriminating taste.
But stranger things happen every day. I wonder who would pitch and who would catch on that tag-team.
