Republican Senator George Allen has a six-point lead over Democratic challenger Jim Webb. SurveyUSA polled 612 likely voters Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Allen leads 50% to 44%. In a poll conducted earlier in the week and released Wednesday, Allen led 49% to 44%.

Margin of Sampling Error for this question = ± 4%

If the election for United States Senator were today, and you were standing in the voting booth right now, who would you vote for? Republican George Allen? Democrat Jim Webb? Independent Green Gail Parker Or some other candidate?
