for data or statistics on the counter productivity of torture? In a conversation among associates today in our break room, I mentioned that torture was inhumane and counterproductive. A smart ass repuke said he would like for me to provide data and resources to provide proof of my claim. Any help would be much appreciated.

1. My opinion is that all the proof in the world

would not change a Bush supporter's opinion on anything, at least what they will talk about openly. I think a good many of them now are arguing just to save face. There just can't be that many ignorant people left after five years of this administration.

But, to answer your question, all you need to do is Google "does torture work" with the quotes, and you will get several thousand hits. Maybe one of the links will take you to an article that will penetrate your co worker's thick skull. But somehow I doubt it.
