Republican AG candidate cries foul
Ex-prosecutor Jeanine Pirro announced Wednesday that even though she's under federal investigation for allegedly plotting to secretly record her husband over suspicions that he was having an affair, she has no plans to drop out of the race for attorney general.
...
Sources told the AP that Pirro was overheard by authorities having a telephone conversation with former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik in the middle of last year. They said Pirro suspected her husband might be having an affair and that she and Kerik, a private security consultant, discussed possibly placing a recorder in a room to listen in on him.
...
"Let me reiterate my disappointment with the United States Attorney's Office for allowing an unethical, overzealous prosecutor with a partisan political agenda, using taxpayers' money and public resources to pursue a baseless investigation into a marital situation and seek to affect the outcome of an election," said Pirro.

Ha ha. Can you say "Ken Starr"?

Oh, btw, Kerik was that slime that Bush foolishly tried to consider for Homeland Security Secretary before he was discovered to have used illegal immigrants for housekeeping, a sexual harassment lawsuit, insider stock trading, connections with a company tied to organized crime, and more. Nice company you keep, Jeanine.

Just two years ago Kerik and Pirro were the cream of the crop among the pundits. Now, my bitch of a (former, thankfully) DA and Kerik are getting karma handed back to them. Jeanine, I found page 10...it's an indictment!

2. That's right, I forgot
She's the one who lost track of her speech...

I guess I didn't connect the dots because I thought she was political dead meat a long time ago... she's still in the picture?

Sheesh.
