Freeper talking point: Clinton once admitted passing up OBL
Supposedly on admitted on tape...

Where does this come from? As with anythng with Wingnuts, I realize something had to be taken out of context, but I would like to know the context to counter this bullshit.

3. According to Think Progress,
the CIA knew where Bin Laden was at one time in 1999, but did not target him because he was meeting with the royal family of the United Arab Emirates. George Tenet testified to the 9/11 Commission that if we killed or captured Bin Laden, we would probably have killed half of the UAE royal family.

For the details, see http://thinkprogress.org/2006/02/22/bin-laden-uae-royals/

4. If true, every RW blog in this country would be hosting it.
I find it amazing that Republicans want to revisit the details of just what was happening in this country in the mid-late 90's.

Subpoenas issued to the White House between 1995 and 2000 - 1,050

I'll bet not one of those subpeona's had a thing to do with terrorism.

Who engaged in partisan politics throughout the Clinton Presidency, hamstringing the most effective and revered leader in the world? The Republican Syndicate, of course.
