Clinton, Olbermann, DEMS- Our New Mantra: Bring Em On!
The right wingers, that is. Clinton and Olbermann didn't come right out and say those words, but they were certainly implied in their fearless and righteous rebukes of the right's lies. It is a call to action, a call to arms, a call to FIGHT BACK! If the repubs get themselves in this big of a tizzy over Clinton telling it like it is, imagine if that was how it was when they dealt with EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT. We live in such fear of being pegged as "crazed" or "unstable" but that is their game and we have to stop playing it. If every democrat stands up and loudly, proudly speaks the TRUTH the way some are finally beginning to, the right's rhetoric will lose all meaning and then you'll see just how "crazed" and "unstable" THEY become when their tactics no longer work for them. We have the truth on our side, they do not, and we need to start using it. Often. So I say-- BRING EM ON! Use those words. Throw them back in their faces. Throw it all back in their faces HARD.

BRING EM ON!

7. I'm totally convinced..
... that the country is READY for this message. The country is sick of George Bush and his band of Merry Fuckups, but they've seen no fight from the Dems, they've seen no Dems confirming their suspicions that the Republican party has gone completely off the tracks.

If Dems running for the house and the senate stand up for themselves and denounce the lies and lack of responsibility, they could win big in Nov.

Let's hope that the Big Dog has broken the invisible dam that keeps Dems meek.

8. Great post. The spirit that Clinton and Olberman show is exactly
what we need to take back our country. Let me add to your mantra a chant from the Vietnam debacle. As student protestors were beaten and dragged to jail by the hair on their heads, a cry of "The whole world is watching" went up to shame the bullies. It is not hyperbolic to say that the whole world is watching what American voters do this Fall and in '08. Will they see a cowardly people that has been terrorized by its own government into abandoning its Constitution in order to cling to a regime of torture? Or will they see an electorate that says "No more". I pray it is the latter.
