Nicolle Wallace, who was White House Communications Director under George W. Bush, has joined CBS News as a political consultant.

Wallace, who joins the network effectively immediately, exited the White House in July, replaced by Former NBC Universal communication executive Kevin Sullivan.

Wallace has a long association with the Bushes, serving as director of communications for the 2004 campaign, as director of media affairs in the president's first term, and press secretary for President Bush's brother and Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

That's the short and sour of the story. CBS must be gunning for that coveted "fair and balanced" title.

But I'm sure she will give the necessary insight to the hardest workin' pretzeldent in history. :eyes:

1. Now, at long last

It appears that the librul stranglehold on the popular media is being loosened, and we'll finally at last be able to hear a conservative voice on the public airwaves. That is, if Bush is considered a conservative this week by the True Believers. Bush always becomes a non-conservative when one of his fuck-ups becomes public knowledge.
