Macaca tells such an outrageous lie that NOBODY can possibly believe it

According to at least this source, ABC News online, Senator G. Felix Allen Denies Racist Comments.

~snip~

"The story and his comments and assertions in there are completely false," Allen said during an interview with AP reporters and editors. "I don't remember ever using that word and it is absolutely false that that was ever part of my vocabulary."

~snip~

Can I please buy a break somewhere? Come on. Who'll sell me a break?

Felix never used the 'N' word, huh? Can **anyone** who reads that take it seriously? I've used the 'N' word and I'd bet you have, too. I'm not proud of it, but in the course of my nearly 60 years on this earth, I've used it.

Now, logic aside, can anyone who saw that despicable performance of Felix's in the original 'Macaca' incident caught on the victim's tape not see it for the racial hatred and derision that it was?

Now he wants us to think he never used the word and it was never a part of his vocabulary.

Fuck you, Felix, you lying, racist motherfucker. I'd have a hell of a lot more respect for people who continue to use the word and stick out their chins as they do it. They may be racists, but they'd be honest racists and we who abhor such feelings will know what we're dealing with.

Next, when his white robe gets discovered, abandoned at some dry cleaners, he'll try to claim its a baptismal gown. Or his robes from high school graduation.

I hope you not only lose, Felix, but I hope your aspiration to any other elective office is killed dead.

You disgust me, you Republic shitbird.

2. Before November 7th
felix will be denying he ever had sex and he truly hates homosexuals. He'll probably hang out in a walmart parking lot on the sabbath and stone to death the workers to ensure he gets the bush base votes.

He is representative of the G-O-P and people who vote for them. Ignorant and proud of it.

5. Is this the final straw for Macaca?
Tweety said a couple of weeks ago that unless Allen makes another major gaffe, he'd probably win. This was after the macaca incident which eroded but did not kill Allen's campaign, and I thought then that Tweets was probably right - an incumbent Puke senator in Virginia, ought to be relatively safe unless he REALLY blows up big time.

So, I ask you: is this the major gaffe/revelation that will finally sink Sen. Macaca? I think it could well be.

6. He still might be the GOP presidential nominee in '08.
Hey, republicans overlook or even applaud racism in a candidate. Look how GWB's past and character was ignored.

7. Why didn't he simply use the religious conversion trick?
It would have worked & this would have all been avoided.

8. Check out that wiggle room phrasing: "I don't remember ever using..."
..." just in case, a la Mark Furhman, it turns out someone had a tape recorder going while Felix was in his cups at a fraternity party - or in the Senate cloakroom - and pulled himself a Mel Gibson.

9. "I don't remember" is a clever way to not completely deny.
So when the tapes surface, he has an out. He can say, I'm sorry if I ever used that word. I can't remember. LOL

16. I don't doubt he said it, but you'd lose your bet
I'm 53, born and raised in Virginia and I've never used the n-word. I heard a lot of others use it, the same people that were calling me Jewboy or Kike. Maybe that's why I never used the n-word.

17. My wife said something similar to me after I posted this .....
... and I will point out to yu as i did to her .... I didn't say (any reader) you did. I said "I bet you did'. And of course I would lose some bets on that. Not everyone is as lifelong a stalwart as you or she. Here's another bet: I bet you're in the monority.

But that's all a side issue.

Curious you didn't respond to the point of the OP and only the way it was stated.

19. He's ON TAPE using the M* word, right? So....... Oh- the N* ....
Edited on Mon Sep-25-06 11:46 PM by LetsThink
word...... OK-- What's the deal here? Has the pressure gotten to this man? Hey, someone send him a link to the footage. Replay his words...... that may help his memory about the M* word. Ohh-- the N* word.... Well, if you get into a bad habit, it's hard to break: M* word, N* word. Same habit. Has to be fear-- hasn't dealt with lots of personal stuff, it appears-- too much shut out.

And those boots he wears...... What an elitist! Just look at the heel on those things-- I'd like to see him go 1/2 mile with 75 lbs of gear in the desert heat.... Bet he couldn't make it 1/4 mile in those boots-- LESS. Yet he's willing to send our troops out there without a second thought, while refusing to provide adequate protective equipment...He's been up there on the Hill making decisions about our troops, even though he knows little about the realities of war.

But, I digress.... Come November, that will all change. Shortly after the election we'll have someone in the Senate with the background, wisdom, experience. A deliberate speaker who is cautious with words, Webb is a man with the ideas and understanding to make the right policy decisions. Our next senator -Jim Webb!
