Next time one of these A$$ Clowns utters..."We're fighting them over,
there so we don't have to fight them over here."

Please put the a$$ clown in his place with the following:

1) You are admitting we are unsafe over here. That terrorists can easily get into the United States and kill us, 5 years after 9/11. That all their travel capabilities, their financial resources, their weapons procurement, and savagery have not subsided.

2) You are admitting that we are purposely sacrificing the lives of American soldiers over there, so that we can be safe over here.

3) You are admitting that the buildup to the Iraq War was all based on lies of WMD and nonexistent links to Al Qaeda.

4) You are admitting that you destablized a functioning, albeit brutal government, so that we could in essence create an environment where our soldiers can kill and be killed indiscriminately. We created a killing zone to protect ourselves.

5) You are admitting that we have invested $317 billion, that could have been earmarked to improve our ports, airports, and nuclear facilities from terrorist attacks or rebuild from Katrina and created new jobs in this country, instead we have invested in creating this killing field in Iraq.

6) And most importantly you are aiding and abbetting the terrorists by informing them that the Iraq War is a mere ruse, that they can easily use all their means still at their disposal, skirt around Iraq and attack us here, since we are, as you have admitted, defenseless.

In reality my small-minded friend, the truth is simple.

The Bush Adminstration and it's Congressional allies: making the war on terror more convenient....for the terrorists.

1. You're also admitting that you are creating a terrorist hotbed in Iraq.

2. I only have ONE response to that asinine statement.......
What is the difference between 3000 deaths "over there" and 3000 deaths over here. They are still dead and still american.

3. also admitting that the "collateral damage" caused
by this conflict is exacted upon a people who by this argument have less valuable lives. Like playing football on your neighbor's lawn so as not to harm your own.

5. Why not use Tsun Tsu on them?
In the Art of War he points out that you are always better fighting the enemy on your own turf rather than in a strange place where you don't know your way around.

In the Middle East:
a) We don't know the languages.
b) We don't know the history.
c) We don't know the culture.
d) We don't know the geography.

Why should we give away all these advantages?

Also when you are fighting to defend your home then you are going to be fighting much harder for it. We are invaders there and we are inviting them to fight us much harder there than they ever would dare to do here.

It's just bad strategy 101 to say "we're fighting the over there to avoid fighting them here."

8. Not to mention that we are drawing terrorists into the backyards...

...of completely innocent third parties, in effect turning them--including women and children--into targets.

It is a cowardly strategy to say the least and it rankles me whenever I hear these cowards repeat this mantra.

9. And worst of all: we are using innocent women and children
As human shields! This concept of "fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here" means that we are cowering behind the women and children of Iraq...we would rather kill them versus our own women and children?

It has never made sense to me.
