Sick stuff on CNN.com ...weird.

check the current list of headlines on CNN.COM. there seems to be a common thread in almost all these stories. out of the 12 headlines,

7 are about weird, sick, killings

Jury: Death for sex offender who killed student
Dragged woman identified, was mother of 3
Woman cut dead baby out of cousin, cops say
Playskool recalls toy after kids die
Cop's beanbags level man holding gun to head
Steelers star cited after dogs kill a horse
Eat a hissing roach, be first on roller coaster

2 more mention death

Maglev train crashes during test, 18 feared dead
2 more deaths may be linked to spinach

that's 9 out of 12 headlines ... I know they like to focus on the bad side of things, because it "sells," but this seems worse than usual! and what's with all the focus on strange killings like the dragging, the cutting out of an unborn baby... is it just a coincidence that these things are all happening today, or is CNN getting weird? Or, is there some other story that they are trying to divert attention from?

7. I noticed that MSNBC has been harping on the "bump" more than CNN.....

CNN's Bill Schneider thinks it was a temporary, fleeting blip on the chart that was a result of continual 9/11 memorial coverage..



MSNBC.. With people like Tweety saying Bush will be up to 50 by November.. they seem to be more whacked out..
