Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan claims the U.S. Government called his defense minister and said he'd bomb them back to the stone-age. Is anyone really buying this?

I mean, this plays right into the Republican base's thought pattern that Bush is tough on terrorism, and isn't screwing around when it comes down to it. Tough talk equates to results.

I am so sick of this crap, another ploy to shock us liberals and strengthen their base.

way but you KNOW how appealing it would be to the repukes! The threat really works for Mushie too...acting like he's a big help in the war on terra (because he's been threatened) and all the while providing assylum to UBL!
