More conservative LTTE lunacy

In today's Sun-Herald another "conservative" displays his total lack of sanity and reason and fear that the little message in the back of his brain is telling him "you are wrong dumbass."

"In a recent story about crime in Los Angeles, Sheriff Lee Baca stated that there are 1,000 murders every year in Los Angeles County. In a year-by-year comparison, a single county averages more killings than American soldiers in the entire country of Iraq."

No doubt this bush lover, supports our troops with every fiber of his body. Just another liberal bashing moron who really (and obviously) doesn't give a fuck about our kids dying (as he prepares for the weekend barbecue.) He also added the obligatory:

"It must be remembered that these American Heroes are all volunteers who opted to risk their lives TO PROTECT US ALL FROM THESE TERRORISTS."

I swear I can't find that line in the oath of enlistment anywhere. Although there is definitely something about protecting the constitution against the letter writer, a domestic enemy of that document.

About 18,000 Americans die every year due to lack of access to health care. Each year. That's 6 times more than we lost on 9/11, which happened once.

Soldiers should not be compared to civilians. They should be compared to cops. Imagine a city that lost a thousand cops in one year.

about 300 residents of Baghdad are killed weekly. Baghdad is about the size of LA county, population wise, so let's think about that. Every month, Baghdad exceeds the annual homicide rate for a larger city. That's the comparison, civilians to civilians.

4. You narrowed your audience

when you said "let's think about that." "Conservatives" aren't rational, they are scum of the earth constitution hating lemmings who think about nothing. The just believe what limbaugh and hannity and rove instruct them to believe.

No doubt our troops get a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing what the letter writer thinks about their lives. You know they can just feel that "conservative" support.

5. Send in this fact - the real analogy would be the murder of

policemen in the county ... since our boys and girls in Iraq are the "police" ... I'm sure that, if there were 1000 police killed in the UNITED FUCKING STATES OF AMERICA each year, there would be massive outcry ...

are volunteers and they probably fake their injuries as well. What we need is some good old fashioned "conservative" pulling ourselves up by our boot straps. We need to stop whining about our political leaders lying and getting our kids killed. "We" need to stop terrorists and "we" should be able to torture the motherfuckers. Meanwhile we'll stock up on beer and get ready for the big game this weekend.
