Army seeks more Guard support while Chickenhawks barbecue
Edited on Fri Sep-22-06 08:23 AM by BOSSHOG
The U.S. Army in an attempt to meet bush's needs for more death and destruction wants more support from National Guard units (not less as was planned.)

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/22/world/22army.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&th&emc=th

Interesting tidbits:

- The Army needs 60 billion to overcome equipment shortfalls
- "Limited Readiness" tossed around as a way to describe part of today's Army
- "Few brigades ready to respond elsewhere."
- The need for more manpower
- just read the article and get pissed at those with W stickers on their vehicles. Why are they in this country?

While all this is going on, bush backers, cowardly chickenhawks are getting ready for the big football weekend, barecuing burgers and chicken and swilling beer and loving life.
