5. GOP tried in 95 to get Mfume - they promised him alot. He didn't budge.

I could see them working on Mfume to run for Senate for them in the next race. I can not see Mfume doing it though.

Are they so desperate, they are now trying to recruit people who would never join them and that don't even fit their ideology? The GOP is on the verge of collapse.
