This one for LOL Obey and Cardoza Gave out the Golden Drain Award

Today Congress and the Architect of the Capitol have earned the "Golden Drain Award" for thier work pouring taxpayer down the drain with the Capitol Vistor Center (CVC) David Obey (D-WI) and Dennis Cardoza (D-CA) announced the award at a press conference following the most recent testimony on the CVC by the Arcititect and the (GAO)

According to GAO ,cost for the Center ,initially estimated at $95 Million, have jumped to close to $600 Million and the facility that was supposed to be partialy ,open to the public in time for the 2005 inauguration, will be lucky to open its doors before 2008

Now here's the LOL J Dennis Hastert said the cost are very low and we will be happy it opens right before we swear in the 2007 Congress just yesterday.
