The House and Bush budget passed on people with disabilities
Nancy Pelosi put out a warning about this in March. This is what passed
Slashed Medicaid by $42 Billion over next ten years
Slashed Medicare by $105 Billion over next ten years
Eliminated Traumatic Brain Injury programs
Eliminates funding for $8 million CDC Epilepsy programs

Slashed housing programs for people with disabilties by 50 percent
They virtually eliminates HUD's 30 year pledge to produce accessible supportive housing for people with disabilities

Completely elimnated vocational education programs these helped people with disabilities prepapre for work
Cut funding for an employment program solely dedicated to people with disabilities

Provided only 43 percent for special education of what is authorized under IDEA
And cut the funding for community service by $683 million
Finally They cut Social Services Block Grants by $500 million

This is how they care about people with disabilities ya right

3. I've been saying for years.
It's just a very indirect way of supporting Euthanasia. They want all of us who have disabilities to shut up and die. To them we are nothing more than a drain on society.

6. Disabilities Budget
Well Monkeyman thanks for the update but I guess my husbands
going to be screwed more times than I'd like to count.
My husband has a traumatic brain injury and is on disability
and suppose to start vocational training in the next
couple of months. Considering Bush doesn't want to help the
disabled or their care givers - I guess I could send my
husband to live with Bush so he can see how much his actions
affect the disabled and their families - only knowing Bush he
just send him away so that he doesn't have to be bothered.
