Just had a chance to view this DVD, and it's very informative. Great flick! I heard an interview with the director on Seattle's Dave Ross show, and was moved to buy this DVD. If you get a chance, check it out. The previews on his website will give you an idea of what awaits you.

1. I just checked out the site.

It seems like a great flick but, to be honest, I'm not sure that I could sit through the whole thing without breaking something. I couldn't even watch all the clips on the site - I would have been yelling at my computer.

Oh I hear you! I could not believe what I was hearing during many moments in that movie. It's hard to believe that so many people in this country are stuck in a 1950's time warp, while the rest of the world marches forward, leaving them in the dustbin of history.

The fact of the matter is, is that a broad swath of this country has a profound fear of the unknown, and of differences. They are most comfortable with "milque-toast bland", and anything that threatens their monochromatic world with color, they lash out at. The Republican party does a fantastic job of stoking their fears and taking advantage of their ignorance.
