Dem strategist on Hardball not too strong
Why do these people keep complimenting * before they talk about what's wrong with him?

3. Somebody McCann(?)
It said he was a Dem strategist. He seemed like a nice guy, smart, but just too nice.

4. Don't know who that is, but typical.
I can't for the life of me understand why these people don't have some backbone. Wish someone would give me the chance to be on TV.

9. Steve McMahon. I was hoping Dean would get him off the Dem payroll as
any kind of spokesman.

2. Why Are You Surprised?
What show are you watching?

Haven't you figured out what the purpose of that show is?

Haven't you figured out the bias of the host?

Why do you act surprised at their obvious intent?

Thanks, but I have better things to do with my time. I'll wait until Countdown comes on before turning on the Crap network that is msnbc.

7. Steve McMahon(sp?) is NEVER strong! Who puts him on the air?
I get pissed off every time I see him on a TV show, because I know that he will be a lily livered, soft spoken coward! Dammit! My G-d! We need a Teddy Kennedy or a Howard Dean to be up against these liars! Really, I just get sick watching these damn republican shows that go out of their way to make Dems look like cowards!

8. That's him
He seems like a nice guy, smart, too. But what he and so many other Dems lack in tv interviews is an understanding of how to use clever communications to their advantage.

They don't need to yell insults or curse, just frame their answers in a way that gets their point across and puts the GOP in the worst light possible. Instead of saying "Bush had tremendous support and approval from the public just after 9-11, but..." lead off with "the public is extremely disappointed in Bush for failing to deal with 9-11 properly and his failure to deal with terrorism and rebuild New York is now hurting all the GOP candidates."

10. I don't know why Dean has kept him in the picture. He didn't do a good job
for him in the primaries - he always sounds like he's MANIPULATING, not INFORMING, and when he moved to general election, he still sounded way too DC insiderish.
