1. I had a strange feeling that Pederson would play well here in AZ.
He seems like a fairly conservative D, which is needed in this state. I certainly don't LOVE Pederson, but I would throw a freaking PARTY if we unseat Kyl. You're all invited! ;) It's going to be all about GOTV. Let's do this.

3. Hey I'll BYOB!!! This could be a real UPSET!!
I truly didn't think Pederson could get htis close but I sure am happy he has made it a race!!!
Everything Pederson has said about KYL is true which is probably why his campaign is working.
Keep it up JIM!!!!:)

5. I read elsewhere on DU that this poll did not sample the Navajo Nation
And that the Navajo Nation votes like 95% Dem.

(Can't find the thread right now, but it was mentioned here on DU within the last day or two.)

9. Arizona has major military bases....Fort Huachuca, Davis Monthan, Yuma
Arizona also has a large population of retired military and Tucson is home of a Regional Veterans Hospital/Clinics.

Arizona voters have only to look at Kyl's voting record for military and veterans which reflect his failure to support the military, veterans, his very own constituents.

Kyl is also campaining on his strong support of border control/immigration, yet he never appeared anywhere near the border community until it became a National issue with cameras, reporters and the "Minutemen." Kyl has not supported any pleas from border cities to help in obtaining Federal funds to pay for emergency immigrant health care, etc. Border States are stuck with illegal immigrant costs, simply because they are.....costs which border taxpayers must totally absorb because they have no representatation in DC.
