The Enemy of My Enemy Is My Friend.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Therefore... Lyndon LaRouche is sane and a good guy. Iran's leader is a good guy. Castro is a good guy. Osama is a good guy.

Dont start from "Bush is bad". Start from irreducible moral principles and judge our leaders using them.

You'll see that both Bush AND Iran's President can be horrifically evil.

5. Yawn...
Not to put too fine a point on it, but the vast majority of people here are well aware of that and do not require a lecture.

If anything, you will find more liberals who have spoken out about the US policy that has been based on the enemy of my enemy premise than conservatives.

We supported so wretched and disgusting people as a nation (including Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden) and most of us are too bright to fall into that trap.

7. dumb dumb dumb
the enemy of my enemy can be used against my enemy but that won't make him my friend. if i can use him, then it makes him my tool, not my friend.

9. That, indeed, is a logic fallacy of the first order...
but the fact remains, it's also lousy foreign policy. You know what I mean, Vern?

11. Right wing fascists are the enemy; thus, enemies of right wing fascists
are our friends, not enemies of America. We have to make distinctions IMO.
