There's no outstanding warrant on him -- what would it be for? Spouting off and ranting?

13. Argentina had a warrant out on Pinochet
...and requested that Pinochet be arrested and extradited to Argentina.

One thing you should aware of: Diplomatic representitives, including leaders, are supposed to get full diplomatic immunity while in the UN host country on the way to the UN, at the UN, and on the way out of the country.

4. For what? What are the charges?
I am sure AIPAC would love to have him arrested, while they cheer the real war criminal Bush on his quest for his third crusade.

the US Government is pushing for war. Not the US people, not "the US". Sounds pretty lucid to me. Another embarrassing day in public for Il Dunce'

12. For what?
He has done nothing illegal, unless you think only white people get to have nuclear weapons.

You might check your MSM blood level to see if you have accidentally overdosed on corporate propaganda.

The better question would be how many US administration figures are at risk of arrest and detention at the Hague should they step foot on UN property, and the answer in any sort of fair world would be 'all of em'.

Iran's president is an ass, but was only elected as a response to our Chimperor's idiotic rhetoric. I don't like him, but I don't get to imprison him for that (unless the Congressional compromise on torture passes). Until then, hold your horses.

:sarcasm:

19. For what? What has the man done?
It was Bush who launched an illegal, unprovoked invasion of a disarmed nation. It was Israel who recently engaged in war crimes in their little war.

What has this man done??

20. On what charges?

Being a looney in general, denying the Holocaust and making idle threats against Israel aren't enough. If it were, we could have every Arab or Iranian leader in the last fifty years locked up on at least one of those points, and many on all three.

Pinochet murdered and tortured within his borders and set assassins on political opponents abroad, including one in exile in Washington, DC. So far, Ahmandinejad hasn't approached that.

If you think I'm wrong, please feel free to tell me why.
