And if our actions lead to unspeakable pain inflicted upon our kids sometime in the future, so be it. They are volunteers after all, who most likely would be killed in a car accident if they were still here. Members of bush's base certainly don't care about whomever we are fighting over there but they also don't care about our kids. This is the same bunch of yahoos who believe most soldiers are faking their PTSD. "Conservatives" who never served get their Club Gitmo t-shirts from limbaugh, barbecue on the weekend, bitch about liberals who tell the truth over and over again, hope we go to war with Iraq, avoid the recruiting station like the plaque and don't give a flying dog fuck about our men and women in uniform. Dick Cheney got Five Deferments because, in his own words, he "had other priorties" (raking in massive republicon oil crony profits).

4. I Thought A DUer Had A Good Point Yesterday

Although a lot of people blew it off, the point was: why don't they use drugs to get "information" out of them? Understanding that that is against the GC also but wouldn't it be more effective. If you torture people they will tell you what you want to hear to make you stop; that is how to get BAD information. "Truth serum" would be a more EFFECTIVE way of bending the rules IF THAT WAS THE REAL REASON THEY WERE DOING IT.
