She's my role model and I hope more women carry on her memory. Tough, fair Dem women with a good sense of humor who care about others, especially those who are powerless.

3. She's been gone for a few days, and I miss her terribly
As a Texan, I'm proud to call her "one of our own." Her caustic wit, her ability to not take herself too seriously, and her outspokeness when it came to injustice are just a few of her qualities that I will sorely miss.

I miss you so much, Ann.
