I just had a great new Idea for "Re-faming the left/right Debate"

Instead of referring to ourselves (and others on the political Left) as "Liberals," a term that do use about myself, but the RW and the RW controlled American Media has turn into a derogatory term, let's start thinking like Liberals and Progressives again and consider this.

Here's what we do, we start referring to our side not as "Liberal Democrats," "Liberals," or the "Liberal Left" or "Progressives," but rather as the

"Enlightened Left," "Enlightened Democrats" or simply "The Enlightened."

Also, the true beauty of this term is that, when we have a totally bogus "president," who even Republicans are beginning to get wise to, like we have today, the term can be expanded to include them too, as in

"Enlightened Americans!" :think:

And for the Extreme RW? I thought of a term for them too! They should now be referred to as

"The Ridiculous Right-wing" or "Ridiculous Right-winger(s)!"

I do think we need to guard against three things though. We need to guard against the RW hijacking the terms by attempting to use the words "Ridiculous Right" and "enlightened Republican(s)," both are too positive and we absolutely need to fight against any use of "enlightened right," which could corrupt the term completely.
