1. My brother in Nebraska says Ricketts is toast, but...
we shall see.

2. Ricketts daddy owns Ameritrade by he portrays himself as
your everyman, just one of the guys. He's very deceptive with his ads. He's also a bit of an ass. He accuses Nelson of mudslinging all the time. He whines like a 10-year old girl with an attitude.

I posted here a while back that Ricketts is so bad he almost makes me like Nelson.

And I don't normally have a fondness for quisling bush** supporting traitors to the party but next to baldy Nelson's a ragin' liberal.

3. This Nebraskan cannot stand Nelson, but next to Ricketts
he is my hero. I believe that Nelson will win, but terrified he won't.

5. Nelson's polling strong.

He has a 20+ point lead, which is nothing short of remarkable for a Democrat in a heavily Republican state.

A lot of people are crossing the aisle to vote for Nelson. Heineman, the Republican governor, has a 50+ point lead over his Democratic challenger.

6. I guess that's because Nelson is fairly conservative on social issues?
