A Decade Later, NY Times Won't Let Clinton Forget Monica
The New York Times has long been lambasted by fact-challenged conservatives as the nexus of the "liberal" media.

But in a lengthy article about Clinton's work on AIDS in Africa, the Times couldn't help but bring up the extremely unrelated Monica Lewinsky.

What "liberal media"?

3. i'm assuming some editor
asked the reporter to raise the issue, lest the times be accused of liberal media bias.

or it might just be pavlovian -- mention clinton positively, must mention something negative, like monica, to keep the story "fair and balanced."

4. That drives me crazy. Getting into the WH on a fake name...
repeatedly...and being a prostitute also.

If this were a Democrat in office, it would be all over the airwaves and print.

And Maureen Dowd couldn't get into the WH press room...

7. Jennifer with an 'J' as she was referred to.
as compared to "Gennifer" with a 'G'. She got a nice, six figure job in the State Dept.

Lewinsky only got a $40K job in the Pentagon.

6. tip of the iceberg
if the Democrats regain the House, there will be several things investigated that the GOP gave Bush a free pass on.

8. Gannon? Are your bringing up the Bush White House male prostitute?
If so, I must agree that it is strange that even though the official Secret Service report shows that Gannon (Guckert) visited the George AWOL Bush White House about 100 times, with some obvious overnights, the corporate media has not let the people of the USA know that a MALE PROSTITUTE was infesting the seat of the AWOL pResident.
