(celebration video) MN's Keith Ellison - A progressive winner!
Running for US congress in MN's 5th. Won a primary with 5 Dems running.

It's a video of the party (with some very giddy folks) but listen to Keith's comments at the beginning. Inspiring.

Peace won! Health care won! We The People Won!

1. Love the celebration!
There must of been a 1,000 people packed into the Blue Nile Tuesday night. And most of us had been out doorknocking that day. People were overjoyed by the healthy margin of victory, and that we will have a representative in Washington who will speak truth to power and unabashedly talk about peace.

Keith had no TV ads whatsoever yet he outpolled Mike by 10% in a race that was supposedly too close to call when the day began. And Ember's hundreds of thousands of dollars from Emily's List only bought her 21%.

What an amazing victory for a broad coalition of social justice activists and regular folks.
