Imus loves Harold Ford Jr
Many dislike Imus, but he gets mad props for giving Mr Ford

plenty of air time

Harold sounds a bit worried, but Imus did everything

he could to slam Corker. It was very good

I hope HF can pull this off.

9. To be fair
He's been friends with both for decades. Kinky has been on his show from time to time since the 1970s. And Kinky is a very funny guy. Wonder what Richards' death will meant to the Tex. guv race.

15. Not a thing.

Governor Richards represented what was probably the last gasp of the Democratic era in Texas politics.

2. Corker deserves a slam and not because he's a repuke
Corker is dirty. He made millions off a land deal only after his office changed the environmental laws. He is just like all the other repukes. Glad to hear Imus slam him.

12.  me too
I love the I-Man. People forget that his show is for entertainment purposes and for laughs. He isnt a conservative or a liberal. He doenst fit any political description really.

He has on liberals like Tom Oliphant, John Kerry and John Edwards all the time. He also will have on McCain, Pat Buchannan, mainly because they have a sense of humor and arent afraid to laugh at themselves a bit.
Imus has had on Ford a number of times and Ford was very funny on some of them. A good sense of humor is rare in politics.

Dont forget he also supported Clinton in 1992 when few others were, had him on the show many times. Imus was even invited to roast Bill Clinton at the White House correspondents dinner. a very forgetable show, even Imus admits he was dripping with flop sweat.

5. Imus is a disgusting fraud.
Finding a shining nugget in an ocean of sewage is thrilling, I suppose, but, IMO, not worth the bath in swill that is required for sitting through that singularly worthless broadcast.

Now, I suppose it's time to quit hinting and say what I really think.

Mr. Ford has an uphill battle due to his relatives' thoughtless swim in filth and criminal enterprise and I commend him for his high aspirations. I am unhappy with his muddle of the road stance on many issues that need a strong progressive or liberal approach, however, he still is demonstrably better than the right wing offerings.

6. Saw Ford on CSPAN the other week . . .
Very impressive and genuinely charismatic, in a good-ole-boy sort of way. If he can get voters to listen to him speak for even two minutes, he'll do well.

11. Is Imus still on the air?
The only time I ever catch his p.o.s. show is when I can't sleep.. It comes on here at 4:00 a.m..

But I thought he was being put out to the pasture finally?

If not.. get on the ball Abrams!!
