Harold Ford Jr is one hell of a campaigner.

He knows exactly how to work the electorate. He knows exactly what issues will give him credibility in TN. He's great on the stump. I love this guy.

Check out his latest ad. He really nails this one and will likely catch the eye of conservatives who supported Corker's primary oppenents.

2. He started early and that was a good thing
The Republicans fought in the primary while he could travel the state and get his message out. He also ran positive ads really early.

but, I've seen Ford in a lot of situations and he always seems at ease like he's really comfortable with his own identity.
