I hate seeing politicians get personalized as likeable people when their policies are mostly designed to hurt people who have so little in life. I'm sure Friedman, Schwarzeneggar, and Rice are very sweet to the jillionaire buddies they hang out with and service. But being nice to your personal acquaintances and having a charming personality doesn't mean squat when you plan to use the power of everyone's government to screw over ordinary consumers and help the fat cats jack up utility prices and drive working class families into the streets.

Clinton called BS on this six years ago: Compassionate conservatism means "I like you; I really do. But I'm not going to help you." When you call these chisel-monkeys by their first names, you help to market their personalities over rip off policies. If wouldn't buy horseshit even if it came in a pretty pink box, then don't enable the neocons' bait & switch re-branding campaign.
