Ahh.. good ol' corporate shaming: Artist Banksy Targets Disneyland
Its been a while since I've seen a political act that was purely artistic. In the 60s and 70s it was done all the time. Maybe it got old. But it looks like its due for a come back:

Artist Banksy Targets Disneyland

The figure appeared in
Disneyland over the weekend

A life-size replica of a Guantanamo Bay detainee has been placed in Disneyland by "guerrilla artist" Banksy.

The hooded figure was placed inside the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride at the California theme park last weekend. It is understood to have remained in place for 90 minutes before the ride was closed down and the figure removed. A spokeswoman for Banksy said the stunt was intended to highlight the plight of terror suspects at the controversial detention centre in Cuba.

2. Just seeking attention.
His last bit of hijinks was just last week, messing around with Paris Hilton's new CD.

...nothing anyone does that tags Disney for what they really are is wrong in my book. What Disney perpetuated in PT911, keeps the men in power who torture people, and detains them without trial.

How we fight the so-called war on terror, is as important as who we fight. Our principals and beliefs are why they attacked us, and in abandoning them, "the terrarists" have already won.

Peace :-)

On edit:

From the same article they had a piece about http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/5335400.stm">Hilton too:

Last week, he smuggled 500 "alternative" versions of Paris Hilton's album into record shops around the UK. The artist replaced Hilton's songs with his own remixes, which were given titles such as:

Why am I Famous?,
What Have I Done?
and
What Am I For?

He also changed the artwork to show the US socialite topless and with a dog's head.

Mmmmm.... nope. Can't find anything wrong there either.... }(
