The Alaska Democratic Party in their (un)wisdom has decided to throw all their monetary and campaign support into the governor's race (Knowles versus Palin) and leave U.S. House candidate Diane Benson to her own devices. Her campaign is operating on a shoestring but is gathering a lot of grass roots support. She is a good candidate and deserves a lot better than she's getting from the wimpy Alaska Democratic Party. Don Young is as corrupt as they come and needs to go.

Here is a picture of Diane with her daughter and her son, whose legs were blown off in an IED explosion in Iraq last year (after he was supposed to have come home), leading our Independence Day parade.

1. I will donate to her

I think Knowles will lose the election to Palin but this one just might be close. People are getting a little tired of Young in Alaska plus I hear he has been implicated in the Abramoff Scandal.. I went to her site to make a controbution but could find no way to do so on her site. Am I that dumb or is it hidden somewhere?

All I saw was part of the screen. I didn't realize it was wider than the window and I needed to scroll over. What a dummy I am. I just donated to her cause, thanks. I have some very close friends that live in Alaska and I try and stay abreast of what is going on up there.
