Keith spoke tonight like an angry man whose literary agent just
told him that his book had sold enough copies so that he was set for life. What a speech!

1. No way that book could make him "set for life", but Keith has lost enough
jobs over the years that he's pretty fearless.

2. It was very good. He knocked junior and his thug buddy
on their protoplasm mindless asses.

3. It would be his editor, rather than his agent telling him that.
Or he can look on Amazon and see that his book is at #183. That won't set him for life, but it will help in that direction.

If his agent has some good news for him, it's that the bidding is rising on his untitled, unwritten next book as a result of advance word about this speech. Now, that would be financial motivation!
