He wasn't any more widely loved in his time than Clinton or Gore or Kerry in their times. I think people forget that sometimes. They were smearing FDR as a communist back in the 30's and 40's. It's what they do.

That's exactly what I thought when I read that. Terrorists knew better than to attack us while Clinton was president. He caught all those who attacked the WTC in 1993 (Bush Sr's fault, if you follow their logic). So, they waited for Bush, and they were right. Osama is still free, five years later. No wonder they won't let anyone on that board who isn't in lockstep with Rush ditto head thinking.

Although I'm beginning to think that Osama will be the October surprise. They've started talking about him again, after not mentioning him for almost two years!

10. I do agree with Freeps on one thing: the 19 guys deserve some of the blame

In reality, Clinton has some responsibility, Bush has some, our policies have some--but you have to say, the actual men that did the attack, plus Osama and his band of followers directly have the blood of the Americans on their hands.

Of course, ask the Freepers "where is Osama?" and that alone will probably get you banned.
