My Response: GOP plans to "get personal" in last 60 days
So the Rethuglicans are saying that a majority of their campaign funds given to them by their corporate masters are going to be used to dig up dirt on their opponents? Hmmm... Okay, but I am adamant that the DNC or candidates themselves consider running something on this if they wanna talk about morals and the protection of small children. There's nothing worse than the forced sexual stalking of a child, especially the smallest and most innocent of pre-teens - those cases make me sick to my stomach! I crack up that they actually want to throw mud when there's so much more than even what is below, and from more types of scandals (bribery, theft, etc).

6. you're very welcome
:kick:

I found it in a search about the baptist conventioner. as a gay man (who's celibate but still judged and berated in churches I go to) I was disgusted that some of the very people being vehemently hateful towards me are getting arrested for picking up gay prostitutes because they're hiding their sexuality, or criminally, molesting sexually pre-mature children who have no f'n idea what is going on or would want to be a part of their molestors act. And then 20 years later they remember how they were molested hundreds of times.

10. Great work--but the DNC doesn't have to do this. We can.
Let's concentrate our mud-detection on every R running this election, and then use the power of the internets to spread the goo. The RW dimwits do this already but don't have the collective smarts to do back up their claims with credible sources. We do.

Doesn't have to be political boards; do it on boards devoted to sports, sewing, aviation, the list can go on and on and on.

My son's future is too valuable to keep it "above the belt."

Bring the bastards on!

11. Keep this front and center but don't worry
The latest ad attacking Harold Ford is so pathetic here in Tennessee I crack up when i hear it.

"Harold Ford says we must get tough on terrorism, but... (cue malevolent voice here)

he voted against the Patriot Act, which protects us from terrorists."

Okay, you dumb fuckwits, don't you realize that most Americans in the last few years who have tried to get a bank account, airline ticket, job, driver's license or cellphone - with absolutely zero intent toward terrorism - have been inconvenienced and pissed off by the new "rules" forced on us by the Patriot Act? Are you STUPID? Voting against the Patriot Act makes him more desirable.

"He voted to cut defense spending!" as if 99% of voters with a clue don't realize how bloated our defense budget is, or haven't had to buy body armor for their kids going to Iraq? Do Repukes think Americans are clueless, or what?

And the final:

"He voted to allow LIBERAL judges to let felons out early to reduce overcrowded prisons." Okay, another bad example. Since the War on (Some) Drugs has made felons out of grannies, aunts, uncles and cousins, most Americans know at least one person who has been imprisoned. Most Americans have figured out that if we use up all the beds for pot smokers, there isn't any room for child molesters. Most Americans would rather see the prison cells holding ACTUAL VIOLENT criminals, not just Joe Sixpack caught rolling a doobie on his back porch.

I almost hate to attack their stupid ad, because as long as they think that strategy will work we're safe. But it just makes me smile every time I see their 'attack ad.' Republicans truly are very ignorant, myopic and simple-minded.

But keep up the good work, Repukes! I need the laughs!
