"These People Want To Kill Us"
MO-SEN: Right-Wing Group's Ad: "These People Want To Kill Us"
By Will Menaker
TPM Cafe

You really have to see this one to believe it. A right-wing group called "Progress for America" has just taken the Bush "national security" strategy to a ridiculously lurid extreme: It's running a new TV ad just in time for the Sept. 11 anniversary which is almost comically desperate in its efforts to scare voters. The ad is running in Missouri -- where GOP Senator Jim Talent is fending off a tough challenge from Claire McCatskill. But get this: The ad doesn't say anything at all specific to Missouri. It just says that "these people want to kill us" (meaning terrorists) and that "some" want to "cut and run" from the Middle East.

2. Bushco is doing a much better job of killing us than AQ
They should run a counter ad showing the military casualties and Katrina, and say "Republican policies are killing us"

5. Roughly 18,000 per year perish in Amurka due to NO or
inadequate healthcare. These people would be proud.

3. Yeah, and thanks to misplaced priorities from these nitwits
they're getting the opportunity to kill as many of us as they like in Iraq.

6. Letters in K.C. Star defending Pit-Bulls say the breed is not mean by
nature, but that people make them like that by how they treat them. Funny this level of understanding can be extended to a dog, but not to other humans, especially Muslims.
