Judging By Rasmussen - Bush's "Offensive" Isn't Moving The Needle At All
Lots of discussion going on about Karl Rove, terrorism, Bush's speeches, and a whole lot of other
related things, but judging by Rasmussen none of this is moving the needle. His numbers are stone
cold stagnant.

We live pretty close to this stuff, and see things in a certain way. But can it be that for the vast
citizenry at large nobody really cares about the Bush admin media offensive, and they've pretty much
made up their minds already?

2. I agree with Gore Vidal: Bush deserves his low approval ratings.
He's earned them, after all.

3. (guess what)
The more the process is discussed, the less effective it is.

We always complain about how elections are covered as if they were a horse race, or a sporting event. This is why it bothers us. Whenever a clear attack on the rights of the American people is discovered, the quicker the media is to frame it as "The Democrats are complaining",.. or "Clintonistas" do this or that. They automatically imply that we say what we do in order to "score points".

Bush's latest speachifying isn't working because the tour has been labeled a "drum up support for the war" tour.
The more evident the manipulative attempts, the less likely people are to "fall for it".

4. Lookd like the numbers go up one pt. gradually so that

by 911, BINGO!, Bush can be at 46% and their cooked numbers trick will work again.
