Important perspective on P2911 inaccuracies...

I have NO plans on wasting my time watching this, but I think we should keep something very important in mind about the inaccuracies in this which have been reported so far.

Keep in mind, even Rush Limbaugh said that he saw a copy of the movie, and he said nothing which contradicts this point.

The point is that, if this movie was simply playing loose with the facts, improvising scenes as reported, etc., then... wouldn't the errors fall on BOTH sides?

I mean, if they showed made-up stuff which made the Republicans look just as bad, then I would just think this was sloppy writing, bad fact checking, pure fiction, etc.

But the fact is that EVERYTHING I've heard of the errors in this film were slanted against Democrats, esp the Clinton administration.

We can't let the writers, producers, et. al. off the hook for just being sloppy.

Unless there is a new rash of stories reporting the inaccuracies about the Republicans, something on the order of how Bush found out it was going to happen but chose not prevent it as it would help with his Iraq war effort, or something equally outrageous, you can feel comfortable knowing that all of the stories about the errors being accidents are pure lies and this is a premeditated hit piece which a well defined agenda.

Dear Sen. Mitchell:

I am stunned at the hubris and incompetence displayed by the executive leadership of two of the nation's iconic companies: Disney and ABC.

What were these people thinking when they scheduled a piece of propaganda, "Path to 9/11"!?!

The writer is known for his uncompromising right-wing bias. David Cunningham, director of "The Path to 9/11," is the son of Loren Cunningham, founder of the worldwide evangelical group Youth With a Mission. "Path to 9/11" is produced by a ghost production company, UHP Productions, that just happens to share at least one corporate officer and location with Disney Corp!

At what point do we stop being outraged and become frightened that two major public companies are so intent on lies and deception?

In your position and given your record of public service, I call on you to demand the resignation of the executive leadership of Disney and ABC and to halt the broadcast of "Path to 9/11."

The blow back from airing this propaganda will not only be the public's loss of faith in two American icons but loss of faith in the mainstream broadcast media in general.
