Rightwing bloggers' heads are exploding
I'm sure they look like this...

Here's one:

This is a mistake on the part of the Bush team. As soon as I saw the request for air time at 9 pm Eastern time on 9/11 I said "NOOOOOO!!!". Why? Because there are a lot of important 9/11 shows on that night, incluing "The Path to 9/11", that will be disrupted if the networks agree to pick up the speech live. At this point I honestly believe that the president's message regarding the fight against terrorism would be better left to the shows that will remind us of what happened, rather than a stiff oval office speech. Speaking into a camera with no live audience is not the president's strong point.

Memo to Tony Snow: Please talk him out of it!
Memo to the networks (especially ABC): Tape delay the speech and run it after prime time.

Here's another:

Klinton Legacy Mafia on Warpath Over ABC Film
Current mood: annoyed
Category: News and Politics

The United States of America is in great peril today. As I have said all along, liberalism is the greatest threat to my natural right to life, liberty, and property. Habib the terrorist in Baghdad is less a threat to my liberty than are Leninists here inside America. The sad thing is most of you Lemmings dont even realize it because youre too busy worrying about an anorexic slut who got arrested for driving drunk on Sunset Boulevard.

For those too busy checking their Fantasy Football results, the Stalinists of our time, the Klinton legacy machine went into overdrive this week demanding that ABC pull or alter an upcoming docu-drama about the events leading up to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Just listen to your Uncle Andy, boys and girls. It is all very simple. Hitlery Klinton is running for President in 2008. Bill is seeking to become the next secretary General of the United Nations. If this occurs, the world is done for. I will be catching the last train to the coast. If this movie comes out as is, the American sheeple may just see what the Klinton White House did to this country from 1993-2000. The dolts may turn off the mindless TV shows for a moment and tune into a film based upon the findings from the bi-partisan 9.11 Commission, which clearly shows that numerous opportunities were missed to have gone after the terrorist scourge with whom we are currently at war.

And one more (of oh, so many):

Scene from Path to 9-11 is not ‘fake but accurate’ ...
(**Bumped to the top - Scroll to the bottom for updates**)

The lefty outrage over ABC's upcoming docudrama "The Path to 9-11" is still raging out of control. There has been a blog created specifically in an attempt to refute claims made by the movie. Clinton admnistration officials are ...

1. But doesn't the second part of the film emphasize Bush's failures
Or whatever constitute as token failures so the film-maker can claim he's not a partisan hack?

4. We don't know for sure
No one has seen it. If the film follows the time line then any Bush stuff would come in hour 4 (or 5), since the film deals with the years 1993-2001. Given the script though, I expect to see scenes with Rice, Cheney and Rumsfeld in deep discussion over the grave threat of Al Qaeda all throughout the spring and summer of 2001, and bemoaning the fact that those damn Clintonistas never warned them about this dangerous group of terrorists.

12. "We don't know for sure - No one has seen it."
.....at least, mostly no-one.

It was reported recently that some of the more right-wing bloggers saw it, but not the reviewers at large. Several quotes from the producer stated that he didn't want his project "stymied".

Therefore, only the more-conservative saw the film preview; many on the left and central were denied that privilege.

Still, you have to laugh at these comments above. You'd think that, by complaining about "Path to 9/11"'s errors, that WE'RE the ones hiding something, or misleading someone.

"Ignore the facts, folks; we'll tell you what to believe."

14. I think the 900 screeners that went out were for Part 1
I remember reading on this site or rawstory that the screeners were only for the first two hours and that no one had seen anything beyond that.

2. Klinton?
I wonder what the reaction would be if the networks took this advice and started tape-delaying the president's Oval Office addresses until after prime time. Think these same bloggers might have a fit in that case as well?

5. I would assume that the movie will be showing Bush's summer of 2001 right
at the time of his speech, and when his speech is finished that right when the movie gets to the actual attacks.

He thinks the American people are stupid, and unfortunately he is right.

The Kidnapping and Beheading of William Jefferson Clinton
August 31, 2006
BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I'm working on the concept of a new docudrama. Working on the concept here of a new movie, ladies and gentlemen. I have powerful friends in Hollywood, and they're always looking for story ideas to make movies and docudramas out of... Here's the idea, ladies and gentlemen, I am going to pass on to my powerful creative friends in Hollywood. The basic premise is that former President Clinton gets kidnapped and beheaded, and the docudrama will be an in-depth study of what happens in America and the free world and the Moslem world. This will be a thought provoking critique of contemporary society, not just in America, and its ramifications for the war on terror. Former President Clinton kidnapped and beheaded, and of course it will be a thought provoking critique of the ramifications of this on Hillary Rodham Clinton.

13. Something that really, really bugs me about Freepers:
WHY do they always think that anyone who doesn't believe absolutely EVERYTHING they believe is a Communist? What the hell does Communism have to do with anything????

I think Bush is an ass. How does that translate into "I must, by definition, LOVE Lenin" (or come to think of it, Stalin, Marx, terrorists, any of the Clintons, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, or really pretty much anyone else in the entire world on their hate list)? That train of logic is just beyond my comprehension. Maybe someday one of them will actually explain how they arrive at these kinds of conclusions. I'm not holding my breath, though. I don't think they can explain it. I think they just sit down at the keyboard and spew comes out through their fingers.

17. Thelma Drake who is Virginia's 2nd district congresswoman
and who is in an unexpected tight race against the Democratic challenger actually called a friend and fellow local activist a communist when all she was asking Drake about was why Drake had not voted to hold government contractors accountable and to end war profiteering.

Then in a meet your congresswoman coffee with constituents, Drake again called people who disagree with Bush communists.

This seems to be a new labeling they are using. Drake is a Bush rubber stamp and Bushbot.

How can they compare Hillary Clinton with ADOLPH F*CKING HITLER???? I truly do not understand. Then again, I can't comprehend most of what RWers do.

19. hey, some DU'ers call her that and worse
I'm hoping those HRC-bashers here take a long hard look at the way the wingnuts sound and perhaps gain a little insight into the way they sound.

The wingnut assault against truth is egregious and we need to circle the wagons.

While he might have fooled many REAL Republicans with the correct spelling of Hitlery, he exposed his real agenda by misspelling KKKlintoon!

It was never funny in the first place (after all, what RW'er has a real sense of humor?). And "Hitlery" too. That's just so fucking lame.
