A List of DISNEY EMAIL CONTACTS
I found this in the AMERICABLOG comments section, I will reproduce the entire message--it's a good list:

OK, here the names, titles and email addresses for a number of key senior Disney decision makers I found, starting at the top
with the CEO and board of directors are at the bottom.

Let's make our voices heard and see if we can get these guys to pull this blatantly obvious Bush propaganda. ABC may profit from the predictable controversy but airing a film designed to obfuscate Bush's responsibility for 9/11 will cause ABC to suffer greatly in the estimation of serious people.

Disney and ABC should leave the RNC propaganda to Fox, it's not ABC's demographic.

6. Democratic Leadership THREATENS Disney--this is GREAT
http://americablog.blogspot.com/2006/09/senate-democratic-leadership-threatens.html

Mr. Robert A. Iger
President and CEO
The Walt Disney Company
500 South Buena Vista Street
Burbank CA 91521

Dear Mr. Iger,

We write with serious concerns about the planned upcoming broadcast of The Path to 9/11 mini-series on September 10 and 11. Countless reports from experts on 9/11 who have viewed the program indicate numerous and serious inaccuracies that will undoubtedly serve to misinform the American people about the tragic events surrounding the terrible attacks of that day. Furthermore, the manner in which this program has been developed, funded, and advertised suggests a partisan bent unbecoming of a major company like Disney and a major and well respected news organization like ABC. We therefore urge you to cancel this broadcast to cease Disney’s plans to use it as a teaching tool in schools across America through Scholastic. Presenting such deeply flawed and factually inaccurate misinformation to the American public and to children would be a gross miscarriage of your corporate and civic responsibility to the law, to your shareholders, and to the nation.

The Communications Act of 1934 provides your network with a free broadcast license predicated on the fundamental understanding of your principle obligation to act as a trustee of the public airwaves in serving the public interest. Nowhere is this public interest obligation more apparent than in the duty of broadcasters to serve the civic needs of a democracy by promoting an open and accurate discussion of political ideas and events.

Disney and ABC claim this program to be based on the 9/11 Commission Report and are using that assertion as part of the promotional campaign for it. The 9/11 Commission is the most respected American authority on the 9/11 attacks, and association with it carries a special responsibility. Indeed, the very events themselves on 9/11, so tragic as they were, demand extreme care by any who attempt to use those events as part of an entertainment or educational program. To quote Steve McPhereson, president of ABC Entertainment, “When you take on the responsibility of telling the story behind such an important event, it is absolutely critical that you get it right.”

Unfortunately, it appears Disney and ABC got it totally wrong.

Despite claims by your network’s representatives that The Path to 9/11 is based on the report of the 9/11 Commission, 9/11 Commissioners themselves, as well as other experts on the issues, disagree.

Richard Ben-Veniste, speaking for himself and fellow 9/11 Commissioners who recently viewed the program, said, “As we were watching, we were trying to think how they could have misinterpreted the 9/11 Commission’s findings the way that they had.” <“9/11 Miniseries Is Criticized as Inaccurate and Biased,” New York Times, September 6, 2006>

Richard Clarke, the former counter-terrorism czar, and a national security advisor to ABC has described the program as “deeply flawed” and said of the program’s depiction of a Clinton official hanging up on an intelligence agent, “It’s 180 degrees from what happened.” <“9/11 Miniseries Is Criticized as Inaccurate and Biased,” New York Times, September 6, 2006>

Reports suggest that an FBI agent who worked on 9/11 and served as a consultant to ABC on this program quit halfway through because, “he thought they were making things up.”

Even Thomas Kean, who serves as a paid consultant to the miniseries, has admitted that scenes in the film are fictionalized. <“9/11 Miniseries Is Criticized as Inaccurate and Biased,” New York Times, September 6, 2006>

That Disney would seek to broadcast an admittedly and proven false recounting of the events of 9/11 raises serious questions about the motivations of its creators and those who approved the deeply flawed program. Finally, that Disney plans to air commercial-free a program that reportedly cost it $40 million to produce serves to add fuel to these concerns.

These concerns are made all the more pressing by the political leaning of and the public statements made by the writer/producer of this miniseries, Mr. Cyrus Nowrasteh, in promoting this miniseries across conservative blogs and talk shows.

Frankly, that ABC and Disney would consider airing a program that could be construed as right-wing political propaganda on such a grave and important event involving the security of our nation is a discredit both to the Disney brand and to the legacy of honesty built at ABC by honorable individuals from David Brinkley to Peter Jennings. Furthermore, that Disney would seek to use Scholastic to promote this misguided programming to American children as a substitute for factual information is a disgrace.

As 9/11 Commission member Jamie Gorelick said, “It is critically important to the safety of our nation that our citizens, and particularly our school children, understand what actually happened and why – so that we can proceed from a common understanding of what went wrong and act with unity to make our country safer.”

Should Disney allow this programming to proceed as planned, the factual record, millions of viewers, countless schoolchildren, and the reputation of Disney as a corporation worthy of the trust of the American people and the United States Congress will be deeply damaged. We urge you, after full consideration of the facts, to uphold your responsibilities as a respected member of American society and as a beneficiary of the free use of the public airwaves to cancel this factually inaccurate and deeply misguided program. We look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Sincerely,

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid
Assistant Democratic Leader Dick Durbin
Senator Debbie Stabenow
Senator Charles Schumer
Senator Byron Dorgan

18. I did the same as the poster above; here's a few samples of what
I wrote. The first one is to the clown in charge of their CABLE ventures, the second, to his assistant:

Because Disney and ABC persist in going forward with the neocon directed ABC hit piece about 9/11, a group of individuals in my area are taking part in a nationwide boycott of DISNEY cable offerings, along with theme parks, films, network TV outlets, and associated merchandise.

We are in the process of gathering signatures to compel our cable company to make DISNEY CABLE offerings an "a la carte" option, and enable us to substitute other channels for the boycotted Disney channel.

With state primaries coming up shortly, we anticipate having many thousands of signatures by the end of the month and we do expect to be successful in requiring customers to choose --or ESCHEW--Disney when selecting their cable line ups.

This could have been avoided had not the Mouse meddled in politics.

---------------------------

Karen, you may want to update both your's and Scott's resumes.

There is a boycott underway of Disney's cable offerings, along with network TV, films, the theme parks and toys, DVDs, and associated products.

The reason for the boycott has to do with Disney's foolish support for the neocon ABC hit piece on 9/11. It's a huge mistake on Disney's part to alienate over 60 percent of the country.

The Mouse shouldn't meddle in rightwing politics.

I made all my subject lines relate to their JOBS, as opposed to a boycott or a complaint. Hell, most folks are selfish, and it's all about THEM!

24. Here's what I just sent to Disney:
Gentlepeople,

PLEASE do the right thing. Not the "right" thing (as in pandering to the so-called "right" wing of American politics. PLEASE don't slander or libel the Clinton administration! "The Path to 9/11" is filled with lies, distortions, misrepresentations, and deceptions. PLEASE don't put it on the air! I don't want to feel compelled to stop watching ABC, or joining the growing boycott of ABC sponsors. But if this despicable miscarriage of truth and justice is allowed to air, I'm going to have to do both those things.

PLEASE pull this awful program!!!

Thank you.

26. Here's my letter!
I have read with dismay the lies and distortions ABC and Disney have succumbed to in order to place the blame for 9-11 on Bill Clinton instead of where it really belongs, on the shoulders of George W. Bush. I would think that presenting such false and misleading, not to mention totally partisan, material would be a breach of the public trust you have been given. Therefore, I find no other alternative but to cancel all Disney television subscriptions that I currently have, as well as cancel a planned October vacation to Disney world, as a form of my personal protest against your right-wing partisan propaganda. Instead of wasting that money on those who care more about the fabrication of history in order to place blame where it doesn’t belong and absolve those who are to blame, I will make a sizeable donation to the Democratic Party to help fund candidates who can put an end to the national nightmare this country has been subjected to for the past 6 years, and who will dutifully investigate your breach of the public trust.

Time to STOP blaming Bill Clinton for EVERYTHING!!

13. Thank you and my letter
Dear Mr. Iger:

I am bewildered and appalled that two companies with the fine reputations of Disney and ABC would be a party to all the subterfuge, pandering, and lies that continue to surround "Path to 9/11."

I lost a very dear friend and great human being, Michael Packer, on 9//11/01, and I feel that the Bush administration's, the right wing neo-con's, and now ABC and Disney's attempts to use this tragedy to manipulate the American public and shift blame away from the Bush administration is unconscionable.

The lies and misdirection inherent in "The Path to 9/11" will have such significant blow back for ABC and Disney that whatever you thought you would gain from your pandering will seem truly insignificant in retrospect.

Disney and ABC are American icons. That those who run the companies have let this happen to two such formerly well regarded brand names is a travesty.

Please know that if Path to 9/11 airs with any suggestion that the Clinton administration was at fault without noting how the Clinton administration tried to get the Republican congress and senate to act on the terrorist threat, viewership and support for ABC and all Disney related brands will plummet.

If you want to tell the true story of 9/11, then investigate the Bush administration's complicity in the event. Don't lie about the Clinton administration's involvement.

Shame on you. Shame on you.

He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors since March 2004. He was the Democratic Senate Majority Leader - and a good one! He's not some neocon sympathizer.

Guys - my serious apologies for being so far behind on the Five Star Activists' Resource thread. You know how life sometimes gets in the way. But I HAD to put all this stuff in there. There's a post near the top, "Part Eight," which has original Disney info and I've noted there that what you REALLY want is "Part Sixty" toward the bottom - plus some other relevant info from other threads here.

Again - sorry some of it is old news. But thanks to MADem and a few others here, the latest and best is now in there.
