Have you seen the new MSNBC political page?
They've teamed up with National Journal and have a new page/new look. I like it. Lots of links to new AP and other sites' stories, a guide to key '06 races, etc.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032553/

From Jennifer Sizemore, Editor in chief, MSNBC.com:
"At MSNBC.com, we believe that the 2006 midterms and the 2008 presidential election may be the most important, pivotal and fascinating in recent history."

Got that right!!

4. All news is bullshit. It's up to you to weed through it.
Nonetheless, this is a nice compilation of articles to weed through. Lots of link to AP stories too, which can sometimes be less biased than others.

I didn't say you should take it as gospel, did I? Just a resource.

5. I post a lot on lbn there are much better feeds than MSnbc or cnn.
if you use rss feeds they will show up on your task bar to show you new stories which have come up from all major feeds, Msnbc gets their news from them.

I don't think microsoft has that in IE but safari and godzilla does.

2. I know that is said about every election ... but
this one will shape the course of events like no other. Two more years of unchecked BushCo policy, or Congress doing their job of oversight and investigations. The latter for me, please! :)

3. That story about Maria Cantwell should have the updated info..
...about her opponent, Mike McGavick, and his involvement with the huge FBI investigation going on in Anchorage, Alaska.

The FBI has a massive investigation going on regarding VECO and about 12 lawmakers from Alaska.. http://www.ktuu.com/cms/anmviewer.asp?a=6285&z=1

The news is slow to come out because the warrants were just served a few days ago.. but McGavick is heavily involved in the deal.
