This is what I have been saying for years: if we, the people show some support for them, elected Dems will find the courage to stand up to the GOP bullies .

Back when Gore showed every bit of backbone and chose to fight within the legal framework, he received no support from either his voters at large (there were no mechanisms to make this known of course back then!) or other elected Dems, it went no where...
