Who would imagine anyone calling gingrich a hypocrite and taking him to task for his knucklehead attack on Nancy Pelosi and her "values?"

Nice read and from an unexpected source. U.S.News is a giant of "conservative" intellectual thought. How did an honest article with factual data make the cut?

because they know things are going to hell pretty rapidly and they'll need a Democrat to blame.

My guess is that they'll run Allen to make sure the fundies stay with them. Newt doesn't have a chance, the fundies won't support him. Same with McCain.

The strategy is to set Jebbie up for a run in 2012, to "save" the country from the Democrats, who will have a tough time trying to fix the stuff Stupid has wrecked.

The only thing that can put a monkey wrench into their plan is an impeachment with a full investigation and public airing of what this gang of Straussian criminals has really been up to.
