A few polls from Pennsylvania to help start your day
Edited on Thu Sep-07-06 08:14 AM by rpannier
Poll shows Sherwood, Gerlach trailing challengers in their races
The poll, which reached about 1,000 voters in each of 30 of the most hotly contested races in the country, found Sherwood, R-10th District, trailing Democrat Chris Carney by 7 percentage points, and Gerlach, R-6th District, trailing Democrat Lois Murphy by 5.

Apparantly, Sherwood (repuklican) was involved in a sordid affair with his mistress and he assalted her. Not to worry folks...Elmer Fudd (aka cheney) is going to PA to help fundraise for this sos.

The USA Today/Gallup poll shows Casey with a sizable advantage over Santorum among likely voters, 56% to 38%. Most other polls in the state this year have shown Casey with the lead, albeit of varying sizes. The USA Today/Gallup numbers are similar to the results of several polls conducted in the spring, and may indicate the momentum is swinging back toward Casey after recent polls suggested that Santorum was cutting into the large lead Casey had enjoyed.

2. We still need one more - Patrick Murphy!
Yes, Pennsylvania is looking fairly good this year. However, there's one race that we can definitely win, but losing in the polls right now -- Patrick Murphy vs. Mike Fitzpatrick. I think the last poll was 53-45. We need to turn that one around and make a clean sweep in PA.

For anyone interested, here's Patrick's website:

And here's a group you can join if interested:

3. cheney is coming to DALLAS PA
to help sherwood...

local paper didn't disclose the exact location... probably in some private home or an abandoned mine to make cheney feel more at home in a hidey-hole?

4. The only way Elmer Fudd could hold it outdoors
is if it was after dark.
The light would cause him to burn up.
I understand there's no garlic allowed at events he attends and he won't enter your home unless he's invited in.

Patrick Murphy (D) - 45%

Here is a list of polls of 30 house seats:
