Help Me Respond to This?

There is a link there that says Share Your Thoughts. I did once and the "editor" responded. She also in her comment wrote that "We'll be kind even if we disagree." So, I responded again to her points. Then, she deleted my comments.

Would it be appropriate for you to go to that page and Share Your Thoughts on the war and flag-waving as well? My opinion is yes. If you agree, then please respond to her.

1. Why respond?
Clearly she's a liar - she won't allow comments that disagree with her opinion. So don't bother. I have found an old saying fits really well dealing with that mindset:

Never teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time, and annoys the pig.

She deleted your comments but was she rude about it or derogatory?
Close minded yes and you will never get through to people like that. Let her play in the shallow corner of the net.
