What would happen if
Harris went into the Fla Senatorial election with a 35 point deficit but won the election? The pundits have already set the table by saying that Polls don't matter anymore and cant be counted upon. Sure, there would be uproars, but we had that in California recently and the Repug was appointed by congress anyway. Would there be protests in any serious way? Would lazy-ass americans get fired up and do something radical.....like demand justice with more than lip service?

I'm not sure Floridians would do ANYTHING but a little bitchin.

Whats your opinion?

Most people don't think politicians affect their lives much anyway.

2. Don't lump us all together, k?
SOME Floridians might only bitch a little, but that's not appropriate opinion for all of us.

Thanks.

5. Sorry about that......
I get pissed off when people lump all Alabamians into one big bigoted red-neck bowl. I was out of bounds by doing it to Floridians. I'm very sorry.

This is to anyone I have offended with this post.

4. I think she will win, with the pity vote. The need to vote for the
underdog has a long tradition in this country. She is sort of like that movie that was so bad, it became a classic hit.

6. There would be tiny protests held. Then nothing.
Democracy is a sham in the US anymore. They realy count on people just to sit back and let themselves be boiled.

7. My opinion and I hope I'm full of shit,
But I believe the only thing that would get anybody out into the streets anymore would be a draft and a 30% consumption tax on all goods sold. I mean to get angry violent people in the streets.

8. I never saw any credible polls with Busby ahead.
Sure, the votes weren't counted properly, but you there is no evidence based off of polling that she had won. The point however(which is appropriately noted by many people), is that the counts were counted with a lot of incompetence and insecurity that shouldn't be put up with in our democracy. So far, however, too many people are putting up with it.
