Bootlicking freeps respond to Harris win ("Woo hoo!! Go Katherine")

Katherine Harris Wins (Woo hoo!! Go Katherine!!)

Posted on 09/05/2006 7:14:23 PM PDT by Lunatic Fringe

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) Katherine Harris won the Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat.

1). To: Lunatic Fringe

We have a chance to gain a Republican Senate seat. She's the Republican candidate. W and Jeb need to now get behind her. There's no excuses, since W has supported Joe Lieberman, not a Republican and Lincoln Chaffee, who also is not a Republican. We need 60 in the Senate. Then dirty Harry Reid can have apoplexy.

2). To: PhilipFreneau; Hildy

What exactly is her negative baggage, other than the Demoncrats and the drive-by-media hates her? Just curious.

There are plenty of people HERE who hate her. You know, the "real, true" conservatives that FR seems to be flush with.

2. She loses by 20 points
And no, the voting machines can't save her this time. A race has to be at least moderately close top be convincingly stealable.

5. Should be interesting since the Republicans are shunning her.
A machine win under these circumstances would be very interesting indeed.

8. She's not going to win
We need to drop this voting machine paranoia that seems to assume all elections are rigged, or that everytime one of our candidates loses it must only be because the race was fixed.

9. I'm living in Ohio
I've seen multiple cases where the voting machines or the numbers do not add up in the past two years of elections.

The exit poling being different from the results by more than 10% in some cases. No, things are not legiimate and I don't believe my vote will be counted the way I make it. I will not believe either until we have real securable and non-editable machines.

Blackwell in Ohio will likely pull out a miracle somehow.

Harris I'm not so sure about only because she is no longer in charge of elections.

11. It might be fun to go there and read some of their idiotic replies, but ..

the FR website always looked to me like it was designed as an elementary school HTML class project that was given a short completion time and slapped together in a hurry.

Having said that, it looks like come November there will be a lot of depressed RWers in Florida. Maybe even a spike in prescription sedative sales. Hmmm? Does Oxy-Rush have a corner on that market yet?
