1. Gee, they've had five years to work on it . . .
Why aren't we safe yet? We've spent hundreds of billions of dollars and ended tens of thousands of lives. Surely that should make us safer, if not completely safe? Was the money spent unwisely? Did we kill the wrong persons? Why aren't we safe yet? Do we need to spend more and kill more? Is that the Republic plan?

2. safe but not safe yet...
yeah... alerts do not scare us like they use too. this latest "sound bite" is to mentally prep us for the next hit..

the bushies/gopers know when another attack comes that they will need to modify their previous sound bite of "we're safer with bush/GOP" - so we're getting mentally prepped for it..

next up the "GOP imagine tour":

Imagine how bad the attack would have been if the democrats were in charge?

Imagine how bad the attack would have been if bush wasn't in charge?
